Welcome!  For those who don’t know, I am the creative behind Violeta Creative and Violeta Kids Photo. My name is Gloria, not Violeta, but I use Violeta as a creative name for my commercial work. I was born and raised in Mexico but I consider myself Canadian now. I have been photographing people for as long as I can remember. I love travelling and learning and experiencing different cultures through food, dance, clothing and artifacts.  

I decided to start a visual blog as a way to connect with my clients and show more about the process behind my work. When I was in Art School, having a blog was a mandatory way to share our process, progress and final work with our peers. Sharing it with other creatives would allow us to learn and grow as artists. In this blog I will be sharing not only my final work but some snapshots of inspiration images and behind-the-scenes shots of my photoshoots as well as some photos that I shoot with my phone and that I really love.
